This is a great mod if you want to have some fun even if you’re planning to play it on any hardcore multiplayer server. Once the sun will rise all those mobs will disappear and everything will come to normality. This mod changes completely the night light in a darkness red and some other effects like a fog that will add some tension in the Minecraft world. Before the bloodmoon rises, you will get a warning and some time to prepare for the monsters that will come, also you can stay or you can find a shelter to spend your night if you don’t want to face with lots of mobs. The Bloodmoon Mod will spawn monsters only on the surface during the night so if you’re in a cave there will be not any monster spawned by this mod. So once you installed this mod and you get the bloodmoon and your night will become more interesting and dangerous at the same time. Also, you can adjust the monsters spawn limit if you wish to have more or fewer monsters.
As the Bloodmoon is triggered, an tiny red small text will pop. The Bloodmoon has a 1 chance of triggering each night. When Bloodmoon is active mobs will be able to spawn as near as a single block away from the player and the number of mobs spawning is increased 4 times over. Once the bloodmoon will rise during the night time all the monsters will spawn faster and closer to you. Bloodmoon is an event mod that prevents players from sleeping, turns the sky red, and changes the rules on mob spawns. Basically, there is a chance of 5% to get a lunar event called “Bloodmoon”, this chance can be increased or decreased and depends on of your set chance in every night there is that chance to get the bloodmoon. The Bloodmoon Mod is a simple mod that has the main aim to adds an eerie and new difficulty feature in Minecraft.
